March 4, 2018,
As Mayor of the City of Houston, I welcome all attending the Annual Convention and
AGG1 Academy & Expo a yearly convention for the aggregates industry's primary
business and networking meeting.
As the aggregates industry's leading exposition and resource, the AGG1 Academy &
Expo features in-depth industry-focused educational programming and comprehensive
exhibits that showcase the latest technologies and innovations in aggregates-related
equipment, products and services. I commend all involved in this worthwhile expo. As
the nation's fourth largest city, Houston greatly benefits and heavily relies on
aggregates as our city continues to grow in population, diversity and businesses.
Houston has so much to offer, and I hope you will share in the Houston experience by
visiting a few of our world-class restaurants, appealing museums and civic and cultural
landmarks, taking with you lasting impressions of the spirit, vitality and tradition that
characterize our city.
Best wishes for a rewarding event.
